I would agree with you about the SAD - I would say that I have SAD, mine came on when I began to develop ME [or early stage ES - its hard to know which is which] but it got markedly worse when I developed ES. Just at that point I was thinking of getting a light box and then I joined this forum and realised thata lightbox would just make the ES worse so that SAD has to be lived with. Come the spring I practically come out of hibernation. I havr 2 levels of activity - a) none over autumn and winter and b) a little during spring and summer.
 
If it wasn't so sad it would be funny

Does anyone think that they may also have SAD, it seems that alot of pepole
start to develop this at this time of year. As an ES I dread the winter,
not just becuase it gets darker earlier per-se but as a result I have to
rely on artificial light more and naturally need to stay indoors longer, soa
double whammy for ESSERS it means more exposure to electricity and so on.
For experimentl purposes I managed to get hold of a large lightbox
containing 2 large high powered compact flourescent bulbs, this is the typeof
light that those who are SAD use to boost thier meletonin levels in winter by
simulating daylight, anyway to cut a long story short as an ESSER I see the
use of one of these lightboxes at close quarters in insane, the trifeild
meter went of the scale an emf and EF scales upto 1m away. Needless to say
it make a good light for the garden on the odd ocassion. Now the nights are
drawing in its time to light the fire in the log cabin every night for an
hour or so, this for me is a lifeline as its the most practical way to get
away from the house to avoid the devils Plasma tv over the road, that not a
single person on the planet can help me with, so every 24hrs I go through
the same tortuous cycle on this one - come 2.30pm get irradiated leave
house come home when its off for 1 hour at 5pm, leave at 6pm then return home
to 9pm when the Plasma tv is turned off.
My human rights are rocking back and forth with the flick of a switch.
The issue has now been criminalised as the couple with the plasma reported
me to the police, so free speech is technically illegal when you are in a
minority. I dispair - Paul uk
