Thanks Rob, I just looked at my phone & it says Dect 6.0. I had no idea. sothis thing is broadcasting all the time I guess. What phone can someone recommend? Loni
DECT phones are usually clearly labeled DECT 6.0. Any phone labeled 5.8, 5.8 GHz, 2.4 GHz, or 900 MHz is not DECT. A DECT phone broadcasts its 1.9 GHzsignal 24/7, whereas the other phones mentioned only broadcast when a callis in progress. Hope this helps, java.
