Paul uk - you could do what I did some while ago and extract the mic from
the speaker phone and solder it onto a long cable that way you can get your
distance from the phone speak and still hear from the speaker. I uploaded a
photo of a phone I doctored onto the photo archive of this site many moons
ago
BT Converse range of phones is quite good for sound quality as long as you
keep your distance, but that said my phoneline is swamped for most of the
day by a killer frequency from a neigbours plasma tv ! Youtube video
pending !!
