Marc,
You seem to have a good handle on EMS. EMS effects me in a variety of ways, one being sleeplessness. Over the last 6 weeks I have not had a full nights sleep, often as little as 2 hours a night. This seems to coincide with the placement of a huge tower 1/2 mile away (right next to our local high school). I should be getting information in the next couple of days so I can see when the tower was activated (because I know the exact night this ongoing sleeplessness started). We also had new neighbors move in that same weekend. At this time I am trying to narrow down the "suspects".
Do you have any suggestions on preventing EMS so I can get a full nights sleep? Would sleeping in the basement help? I'm willing to try it, but not crazy about the idea because of allergies.
I have already done most of the suggestions you listed below:
Removing my amalgams, removing all wireless from my home, limited amount of time on my computer, change in diet, eating more organic, avoidance of chemicals (I have multiple chemical sensitives as well) etc......
Unfortunately I need some low cost suggestions if possible, my husband has been unemployed for almost 9 months.
Thanks for any insight,
jw

Giving up your computer is NOT your only option, and in fact if one is
really patient and can afford to try a lot of different things, one
can largely overcome or eliminate the sensitivity.
Certainly your total daily exposure is contributing to your sensitivity.
So that includes the amount of time you spend underneath florescent
lights, using a computer, watching a TV, using a cellphone or wireless
phone, are nearby wireless Internet (yours, your neighbors, in coffee shops,
etc.), nearby energy efficient lights. Reducing anything that isn't
really necessary is a good first step -- for example, switching to wired
Internet and phones, going back to incandescent lighting, moving
electronics further away from you, etc. It's possible that you've got a
piece of electronics that is particularly nasty (e.g. almost any plasma
TV would fall into that category, as would some computers), and if so,
you may need to replace it with something else that is less nasty.
It's also possible your in an environment with electrical wiring that
worsens the situation.
Also, if you have metal on your person while near EMF fields, you might
want to try removing it (this would include eyeglasses, necklaces, etc.)
Also, there are a variety of things that one can do from a health-
improvement standpoint that can reduce one's sensitivity -- minerals,
vitamins, enzymes, detoxing heavy metals and chemicals, eliminating
parasites and bad bacteria while rebuilding good bacteria, removing
metal dental work, supporting various organs like the adrenals,
thyroid, liver.
There are also "EMF protection devices", although people react
differently to various devices, so this is a trial & error process.
I have personally found a few of these to be quite helpful, but some
others have actually worsened symptoms like anxiety.
And some folks have used shielding materials around their electronics,
on their walls, etc. to reduce their exposure to EMF.
