Hi, Rticle,
I also am working (recent geriatric hippie convert that I am) on energy healing. I cannot say whether your books you have mentioned are good or not, since I have not read them. However, a month or 2 ago I mentioned a book on the subject ("Energy Medicine" by Donna Eden) which I highly recommend. It is not geared to spiritual issues like many such books (not that that is necessarily a bad thing), nor is it about one "energy system". It is an all inclusive book which covers meridians, chakras, radiant currents, the aura, the lymphatics, triple warmer.... (There are 9 energy systems discussed in all.) The author gives exercises--some you cando yourself and some need another person. These exercises run the gamutfrom detoxing your body thru lymphatic massage, unblocking meridians, correcting a reversed meridian (this happens often in people with CFS, according to the book), etc, etc, etc. It even has a section on preventing jet
lag! It includes an entire chapter on emfs and es--some of the es exercises use a magnet and require another person (I have not done these, due toneeding the other person), however, the exercises I have tried do seem to help. Many of the exercises in the other chapters seem to be helping me,as well (esp lymphatic massage and like exercises). The polarity exercises help me. (If you are reading, Laurena, these exercises might also help you--the possibility exists that people who have our type of es have reversed polarity.) The book was not very expensive and I got it here:

Alright you bunch of hippies, listen up! (I joke, I joke; I'm only thinkingof the recent hugging trees to ground yourself threads, which I try myselfsometimes).
It's obvious that all this EMR isn't exactly good for the body's own energysystem. I think it can affect on subtle physical and even more subtle levels, and I'm willing to try whatever I can to be able to deal with it (even if I am escaping to somewhere less saturated), including working with my own subtle but important energy system.
I've found a few books I like the sound of. Please, tell me what you think of them, any other ones, or what experience any of you have when it comes to this sort of thing. I think this will take a multifaceted approach.

The only things about the first two I'm not sure about, based on reviews, is that "Hands Of Light" seems to use "channeling" as part of its methodology; I'm not sure about that.
And one reviewer for "Energetic Anatomy" says he's improved his ability to see and *feel* energy. Hmm. I'm not sure I want to feel more energy, but I suppose it matters what kind we're talking about.
Anyway, please let me know what you think.
Thanks!
R.
