Yes, I was also thinking of you while typing; you are right, that devices can be another type of energy work. If I had the money, I would probably see such practitioners on a regular basis to see how it goes.  

Until that day comes (?), I'll explore what I can afford to do/use/treat myself with.

Speaking of devices wearing out - can you give some examples? Short of physical damage to them, getting crushed or broken, I thought most such devicesare supposed to have an indefinite life, excepting ones which may use a battery and/or active circuit...
