Thanks, Marc,
for your input. These were my thoughts too, but I was trying to be positive and give these filters a chance. My family can't understand why I don't want to go there! ($5000? They think I am just being too tight and think that the $5000 is a fraction of what we might lose with the house move, renovations to the new house, now I can't even go in the new house......) And they have a point too, so I am trying to be objective and open minded. I think my family see these filters as a panacea, but I know that filters have not traditionally been so helpful here that ESers are flocking to them. My question is really, are these filters any different than any other filters? (But I still would remain somewhat skeptical, evenif they were.) I value your thoughts on homeopathy, too--you thought it was ineffective for detoxing. I was surprised by that--I never had such a detox! Maybe I misunderstood--did you mean it is not effective because it
is not easily controlled?
Thanks again,
Diane

My thoughts are that homeopathy doesn't work very well,
especially if one is trying to detox using homeopathy.
Also, we have seen over and over again on this group
that there is no single type of filter that work for
everyone. And $5000 is simply too much to pay to find
out if this works for you. Especially when there
are plenty of solutions out there that cost far
less than this, that you could try first.
