Marc I can't believe that you went one further than going to the link and reading the stuff but that you actually made the mix and tried some of it! I'm so impressed!!

I was thinking of giving the regime a go for a couple of months on thepremise that it might help overall health and then reducing it down to a maintenance dose which, according to the Budwig research, is supposed to prevent cancer, which I'd say anyone with ES is in a higher risk category for developing. If I thought I could fend that off by eating a flax seed and cottage cheese mix once a day I reckon its worth a go. I'm going to become a member of the yahoo group to look into it a but more and I'll report back if anyone else is interested or thinks that my theory has any merit.

Best wishes

Steph

Hmmm, it doesn't seem that restricted to me, but I guess
that must because my diet has been rather restricted since
I became ill. At first glance, the only unique thing
about this diet is the flax oil + cottage cheese mix,
which I thought sounded like it would taste disgusting,
but I just tried some and it seemed okay.

I've taken flax oil on and off for years -- mostly because
people claim it is good for you, not because I've actually
noticed any dramatic differences. I have NOT eaten
cottage cheese, however... not until just a moment ago,
that is... :-)

I have no idea if this would help with ES...
