I believe I am reacting more to the Comcast cable high speed Internet
more because the speed is faster -- I just installed a bandwidth limiter
(shareware) on my PC, and it seems more tolerable now. So perhaps I'm
reacting to the signals on the Ethernet cables?

I'll have to find some shielded Ethernet cables, and see if that
changes anything...
