RE: ES AND GENERAL ANAESTHETIC

Quite a number of people with MCS or ES have reported bad side effects from
general anaesthetic - we certainly think it affected Sue (her problems
initially began after antibiotics and a general anaesthetic for a dental
infection, which then led to candida and gut problems). But I don't know of
a way of telling whether it will affect a particular person - only that it
is definitely an increased risk for MCS/ES people because the immune system
is extra sensitive, and less able to deal with "unusual" chemicals.

Subject: [eSens] ES AND GENERAL ANAESTHETIC

Hi everyone

I will shortly need to have some surgery and was wondering are there
any specific issues that ES people need to watch out for in relation to
undergoing a general anaesthetic - any information anyone has on this
would be greatly appreciated.

Regards to all

Steph
