It is for me -- for me, the Q-Link doesn't seem to do much at all,
while the Quantum Companion is quite helpful. The downside of
the Quantum Companion is that is appears breakable (although
after 7 years, I have not yet broken one), and it also requires
batteries. Although I use rechargeable batteries, and I only
need to recharge them about every 2 weeks (although I don't
have it turned on 24/7)
