Yes, but if you can tolerate a room in the back with all the power
turned off, then I would think that you might also be able to
tolerate that room with some power filtering and the power on.
That would seem to be preferable (and cheaper!) than building
a whole new structure on the property.
The Stetzerizer plug-in filters can be bought from many places.
These would be plugged into outlets near the fusebox, or near
the nastiest appliances (fridge, etc.). Here are a few places

personally I find that many cheap power strips with EMI filters
make me worse. One good brand is Furman -- the ones with
the linear filtering technology. Plugging
your fridge into this would keep a lot of the noise it
generates from dirtying the power elsewhere in the house.
The cheapest strip with the linear filtering is the
Furman PST-8:
