They said I could put it in my ear, on my skin, and if I still wanted to put it in my mouth, I could spray once or twice, then rinse. They thought maybe since I still have one amalgam filling it might be causing the metallic taste.

When the company said that you did not have to put PCA-Rx in the mouth,
where else did they suggest you put it?
