Certainly the radiation from the data in the cables could be giving off
significant rf, check that you are not near the cables also telecom cables. Try
using a very cheap AM radio set to white noise to detect such radiation ie
will give off noise good to check the partition walls especially if you sit in
a sofa against one if the neighbout has a large lcd tv or the like on the
other side you will be getting zapped.
