First of all, are you sure that it is EMF that is causing these
symptoms? I assume that you have also considered chemical
offgassing, mold, recent dental work, etc.?

Do you know what is causing these high readings? Power lines?
Cell towers? Nearby power station?

Yes, some products which claim to help with EMF do indeed help,
but some may be too costly or impractical depending on how much
money and energy you want to put into this. Some people have
gone so far as to put shielding materials on their walls and
windows, some have used "EMF protection devices" that they carry
with them or put onto their fuseboxes, some have turned off their
power at the breakers, etc.

Some things to look at first:

* buy an outlet tester and see if all your outlets are
wired correctly. If not, have someone fix them.

* replace all dimmer switches with regular switches

* replace all energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs
with incandescent bulbs

* replace cordless phones with corded phones

* replace wireless Internet with wired Internet

* move all electronics as far away from where you sleep
(TV, clock radio)

* Minimize the amount of metal you have on your body
(jewelry, eyeglasses, dental work, underwire bra, etc.)
