I've done some experiments with shielding
cell and cordless phones. The conclusion
reached is that the most effective shield
covers the entire circumference of the phone.
Shield just one side and you'll lose a
majority of RF attenuation. In my honest
oppinion these gadgets (beads, gold plated
trinkets, etc.) aren't worth the paper
they're packaged in.
