Hi, Pete,

Sorry to be so late in replying. My husband had to have surgery and I spent alot of time lately going back and forth and not on my computer.

So they say, calcium deficiency is not that common. Among celiacs it is extremely common. (I have celiac disease.) I'd venture a guess that among anyone with malabsorption disorders that it is extremely common. (Malabsorption is common among people with chronic fatigue syndrome and people with multiple chemical sensitivity. That makes it more common in the group of people with ES.)

Yes, magnesium deficiency is quite common and I didn't think to mention it at the time and should have, but when the nutritionist was treating me with large amounts of calcium AEP for yeast overgrowth and for adrenal and lymphatic nutrition, I was ALREADY on magnesium supplementation before I went to him, for deficiency. And that would have been one nutrient that works along with calcium to balance it.

This is the first email I've read for over a week. Hope I did not duplicate something someone else has already written.

Sorry again for my lateness,
Diane

from the years of research calcium deficiency is very rare, more likely
to be deficient in magnesium.
