Hi again Marc,

You were totally right about these monitors using fluorescent lamps
for the lighting! I phoned the company again this morning and spoke
to someone else who knew more about it and told me they use a cold
cathode fluorescent lamp. As you rightly said they dont use LEDs
because they are more expensive. So I guess that is what has been
causing the problem for me and its a relief to know why. It doesnt
seem to flicker though but I am sensitive to normal light sometimes
anyway and it just seems far too bright for me. Thanks for letting
me know about that, I dont think I would have guessed otherwise. I
think I might still try an anti-glare screen to see if that makes any
difference and if not then look into the Quantum Products or just go
back to my old CRT!

It makes sense what you say about not being able to handle the toxins
stirred up, thats exactly what it felt like and I do still have a
long way to go in terms of my mercury detox and strengthening my
detox system.

Thanks once again, you've been a great help.

Take care,

Anne
