Ringing in ears and wireless emissions

I have had a continuous high-pitched ringing in one ear since last
August, also roaring/pounding periodically.
It started a couple of weeks after some dental work (dentist did use
a rubber dam but I understand that this is not enough). I also had a
long flight (from Hawaii to the UK) the week before it began
(compacted ear wax?) and the night before I used a satellite cell
phone briefly without a wire (not sure about the satellite bit my
sister's partner works for Virgin Mobile and he has a phone that
works internationally)
I've entertained all sorts of theories from wax in my ears to mercury
toxicity to ES but last night I think I got a clue:
I was at a dance class and the ringing briefly became really loud. I
looked around and realised I was sitting near an emitter for the
wireless microphone that the teacher uses.
Apparently we get wireless internet signals from our neighbor (our
guests have told us they can connect wirelessly).
I'm going to get an electrosmog detector to see what is going on for
myself.
Anybody have any success in blocking these emissions?
Thanks,
Aline
