On the topic of sheilding - We have a 3G mast approx 1000mtrs away accross
feilds from us, I found that on a portion of my double glazed window to the
bedroom there was a signal picked up by esmog detctor so I decided to buy some
shielding. I found from the moment that I covered my bedroom window with
highperformance silvermesh material from Lessemf that I could sense a disturbing
Efeild, I tried to earth this away but did not show an improvement, I decided
not to earth as per similar thinking to Shivani I occurred to me that
especially earthing through your mains wiring you may be getting more than you
bargained for, at any time of the day/night earthing efficiency might vary I
suppose, so you might find earthing ok in afternoon but late evening it may
well emit rather than drain, if you see what I am saying. The mesh has
recently fallen off window so I left it off for a while, now here is the interesting
bit - I am sure that I feel that kinda "roman legion marching thorgh my head
feeling" more at night and reach for the headnet (incidently doubled wrapped
in a pillow case to avoid direct contact with my scalp) but strangely I feel
less drowsy when I awake ??!!
The sheilding issue is not as simple as companies make out, can introduce
additional problems me thinks definitely requires expert set-up with expert
measuring equip, after all I suppose the you could turn your room into a faradic
cage with a small gap leading to a microwave oven effect and then onto the
faraday effect where you quite nicely absorb what enters the room. Bit like
putting a grumpy horse into a room where it can get out, youre gonna get
kicked sooner or later. !
