Hi folks:
I am a bit fascinated about a phenomenon that some ES members of this
list group have mentioned at times, namely, that they develop certain
symptoms -- such as burning eyes, burning skin, headaches, etc. --
after looking at an LCD display (i.e., video monitor for a desktop PC
or latop, etc.) for a while, along with reports that this does not
happen for them with the older-style and bulkier CRT (cathode-ray
tube) monitors. I would like to know more about this phenomenon, and
thus, if this happens for you, I would love to hear:
* what are your symptoms?
* how severe are they?
* how long must you use the LCD monitor before symptoms appear?
* if you have tried using a transparent electrostatic
shield/screen, has this helped, and how much?
* if you have tried using an area treatment device for "EMF
relief", has this helped, and how much?
* if you have tried using a PC software program such as Quantum
Byte of similar, has this helped, and how much?
If you can give me some information, I am willing to spend a bit of
time researching this both in meditation and in the lab, to see if I
might be able to come up with some possible ways of approaching this issue.
Personally, I use an LCD monitor here, and I do not believe that I
have noticed any such symptoms. Of course, I am also not particularly
electrosensitive. Overall, I prefer LCD monitors because they have a
smaller size and mass, and because they offer far better and more
vivid colors and better resolution, but I must admit that I am
fascinated by the reports of symptoms due to use of these monitors!
Thanks!
with care,
--Vinny
