I have no experience with the two gizmos you mention here. However,
some battery-operated gizmos definitely do create harmful frequencies, so it
cannot be assumed otherwise and is always worth metering.
For instance, a battery-operated flourescent light I tried created
horrible frequencies. I happened to turn it on in the same room as a radio on
AM, and the radio made a horrendous racket. This is meterable with the
Multidektor or some similar meter.
