Oh, by the way, prior to receiving Vinny's device, I had
been experimenting with the "D battery" suggestion, and
had placed a battery next to my monitor at home and
also at work. I've concluded (so far) that this
*does* seem to improve things, but only by a minor
amount. I still need to use my Quantum Products
power strip and Quantum Byte software on top of
the D battery to get more complete relief.

I have not tried using multiple batteries, or
experiment with placement, however...
