I agree that brand names and exact product descriptions are usually
critical on list, especially with things like nutritional supplements.
However, since I don't know how a D battery might help, it's possible
that the only important thing is that the battery carries a charge.

*My* questions are:

- has anyone tried 2 batteries, and seen if they work better
than one?

- does a dead battery work, or does it have to be fully charged?

As for my report that the D battery didn't work for me, that
wasn't actually a fair test, as I later found out that I had
a Transcend energy card in my pocket at the time of the test,
and I know that these cards reduce my tolerance for computer
usage. So I need to redo that test fairly!
