Hi folks
I have finally gotten out of the lab for a bit and can maybe catch up
on some emails! Frankly, any such claim about a D cell sized cell
would, to me, be very ambiguous and confusing, and possibly
misleading, and also untestable, unless the person specified, in
addition to naming the size (i.e., size D) of the cell, the
manufacturer, the brand/model name of the battery (i.e., many
manufacturs produce several models of zinc-carbon cells and alkaline
cells, ranging from inexpensive to high-end) and the exact type of
battery, such as zinc-carbon, alkaline, titanium alkaline, Ni-Cd,
lithium ion, etc.
