no, I do not think that they will off-gas VOCs much.

But I would advise you to buy just one of those blankets and try it out.

I do know, that some MCS people do have trouble with metallic shieldings.

As an alternative one may use a paper wallpaper.
It comes from the german manufacturor Marburg.
