In our last house, I gave them until I could no longer stand
cleaning up after them in the living room (and the smell!).
Of course, we had to have the carpet and pad replaced before
we sold that house, because the cats had done so much damage
as a result of my experimentation. Plus we had to replace
some of the furniture.

My tests were quite lengthy with the cats. I even went 30
days with one device, and they repeatedly soiled the furniture
daily until I removed the device. Then they stopped immediately.

But in the new house, I'm not into taking too many risks --
if I see any reaction from the cats, the item is banned
from the house!
