Hi Ligure,
I wasn't able to reply when you first posted, but similar to what Ian
said; I believe to be a true allergy, histamine must be produced,
which is a reaction to particular amino acids.
Chemical and emf reactions aren't technically allergies as far as I
know, but that does seem to be the easiest way to communicate the
problem to others often.
Something I've been getting around to posting for months, seems like
it might fit here.
Even though these problems make us miserable (not talking true
allergies here), I think actually it shows our bodies are working
properly in that they are saying, "Get me out of here, this stuff is
not good!" Like when you get some food, say milk or meat that is
obviously spoiled, your body reacts, even if just by smell, that is
not good, take it away!
Problem being we can't take it all away, so need to find other
methods of protection and avoidance where possible.
The effects are there for everyone, but some don't realize it yet,
others haven't hit their bodies toxic load yet to knock them upside
the head. :)
Freikanature posted a while back a link to a site designed to help
people get away from it all as much as possible to allow the body
time to heal, restrengthen. Looked like a great program, but for
many of us, we are too sick to even be able to do the required
learning and building to become that self-sufficient. Sounded like
someone really put thought into the whole program though.
I am not familiar with the names NAET and Bioset?
There's lots of supplements to try, one that I've found most useful
in preventing chemical reactions, and lessening emf is the mineral
molybdenum. That is used in the Mu metal shielding you can get for
pcs, and is used in tape decks, car radios etc. at times for reducing
incoming static. My chiropractor had recommended 120mcg. I think it
was 3x a day at the very start! I just went by feel as to reducing
the amount over time. Been out for quite a while, guess I need to
hunt some more down again. Back then I could find it almost nowhere.
