I use extension cords to keep the computer as far away as possible. And I have installed shelving to keep the computers off the floor to avoid ground currents. I found a monitor that does not give off any magnetic fields except for the transfomer on the end of the cord which I also keep as far away as possible and off the floor. I have both a glare screen and another grounded screen from lessemf.com. The computer was one of the things that was hurting me the most. Now I can use it for as long as I want with no problem. Had to also get rid of the projection screen TV and invest in smaller tv's. I live in a mobile home and don't know if the aluminum was the problem but I have put up velostat to block the microwaves. It works best if you also put up magnetic material cloth that can be purchased at walmart in the fabric section. It is called metallic cloth and is 51 percent metallic. You ground the cloth and put it up over the velostat. You put it on the walls and ceiling. This has helped me quite a bit. I also have installed stetzer filters. I also have a quantum pro harmonizer. All the things add up and if you do enough things it seems to make a big difference. I do a lot more stuff than this. But this is what I'm thinking of now. Doing the salt/vitamin c regimen that is talked about in the lyme strategies group on yahoo is supposed to help quite a bit with the brain fog if that is also your problem. I've been doing this as well and it helps also. They think it kills bacteria. I don't know what it does but it helps .

the best possible and my computer at wor has a "glare screen" - that
seems to help a little). Also I wear a visor with a brim to help with

Mostly anywhere I am on a computer. This would be at work and home.
Although I feel the same way on friend's computers. Also, I have the
same symptoms around TV, although I have reduced this by not watching
it, and if I'm around people who are; just being very far away from
the TV and not looing at it.
To some degree, I must just be EMF sensitive in general because
I "usually" don't feel good. I feel alot better when, say, outside in
the woods taking a walk, away from all gadgets.
> Do you know what is causing the pain or symptoms?
I am guessing the main culprit is both the
(typical monitor work computer
(laptop)
I use them combined for >12 hours daily most days for work.
Plus the flourescent lights at work. This seems to relaly visually
bother me; I can't wear a visor there, so am guessing htis is more a
visual thing than an "electric" thing...but not sure if there is
anything I can "do" to the flourscent lights...They just get turned
on automatically; and I'm in a cubicle where the lights would also be
supplying other peopls' work areas....
I am guessing also just general "EMF overlaod" because I use a cell
phone >4 hours daily, plus just I think am around alot of "gadgets"

I don't have any idea. It doesn't seem like it is something
specifically WORSE here (I just moved here about 6 months ago, and
had the same symptoms before.) That isn't to say that a change in
wiring couldn't make it BETTER...just that there isn't
anything "terrible" with my house wiring; I feel the same way around
any other house I've been in.

cell phones,
*** Very likely; I use mine so much. I dont get eyestrain with it;
but do get headaches/feeling tired/memory problem stuff.
etc.)

Any specific "easy" ones for starters?
Also, is there any "easy" way to make some kind of protective thing
for while I sleep, like WITHOUT having to fix wiring (I rent an
apartment so really can't make too many changes). I saw on the
lessemf a "faraday canopy" that is $300. Is that helpful? Is there
any way to make a farday cage for cheaper? (Like one that I could
make a box size, put a blanket on the bottom, and sleep in? At least
that way I wouldn't be overloaded with EMF for those 8 hours. I
looked it up online and was confused as to
1. What material could be used?
2. What the "grounding" it means. Does that mean if it is on the
ground it is okay?
Also, what type of protective personal shielding actually WORKS. I
saw on the less EMF how they have things like a baseball cap, etc -
but then read something else that something has to be completely
encircled plus "grounded" (I dont know how to do that) for it to be
effective. So how do you do that as a person to be able to go
anywhere? I can't put a solid metal sphere around me! I also heard
something like if you put a sliver blanket or aluminum foil (you know
those emergency ones) around you or the walls in your home that
protects you? Is that true?
Also, years ago I was given one of those "pendants" from
ToolsForWellness that is supposed to reduce EMF. Is that really
effective? It seems like it MIGHT be a little, but may just be that
it made me feel like I was doing SOMETHING about it.
What would be the easiest/cheapest way to be able to at do
1. Create a place that I can sleep in with low EMF and go to to
relax/get un overloaded!
2. Reduce the computer's EMF or shield myself from it.

For some reaon, When I type this into my internet explorer, it
automatically closes IE. I am having this problem with pages that
have some kind of animation I think; for some resaon my computer is
doing this error with other pages too. Could you send me the email
for Charles Keen?
Thank you so much for your reply and for such good information! I
really appreciate it!
