I think the Earthcalm products work in a similar way to crystals.
If you go to a local crystal/mineral/gem shop, their reference books
always refer to certain stones as being "grounding".

I'm no expert in how the Earthcalm products work, but I do own
them, and I can verify that they are very strong, and I have
a difficult time using them for long periods of time, due to
what appears to be a detox reaction. Also, I do feel like
I'm much more insulated from my environment than normal.

Also, the Earthcalm website does provide a phone number. You
can call them up and ask them questions. Every time I've
called, I've spoken directly the inventor.
