Like Ian i would have thought that a detached bungalow was one of
the 'safer' options. Is the bungalow detached? You mention
inconsiderate neighbours...are they refusing to move their DECT phone
or something?

If you have not done this already, i would definitely advise spending
the 50 or so quid on an Esmog detector so that you can establish
whether your father's problem is being caused by wireless RF coming
from Dects, wifi, or masts in the vicinity. I have found that even
the most miniscule amounts, if I am exposed to them 24/7, cause me
massive problems.
