Hi Justin, welcome to the group. You and your father have our great
sympathy! Ironically my wife Sue who has ES has just relocated to a
bungalow near Southampton (a friend is kindly letting us house-sit) because
she has had such major problems with our semi-detached house on an estate.
But the situation can vary considerably depending on the person and the
local environment. We have a large street light outside her house which
seems to produce a bad field, and some MW radiation coming through the wall
from our neighbours (we have put up screening mesh to stop this). Yet the
bungalow also has a (smaller) street light outside, and adjacent houses, but
Sue finds she sleeps really well there with no adverse effects. Being
detached certainly helps. Maybe your dad's house is in a local "hot spot",
or maybe he is especially sensitive? Our experience has been that it's hard
to give blanket rules on relocation. Certainly Sue was helped when we took
a cottage in a remote part of Wales during the summer, but to our surprise
she's doing just as well in Southampton, despite a mast and several power
lines within a mile! It's possible that there may be other solutions for
your father than relocation - especially given the expense and hassle.
Best wishes, Ian

Subject: [eSens] ReLocation help
Hi all,
My name is Justin and I have just subsrcibed to this forum in order to help
my father who has
been an ES sufferer (and also chemical sensitivity sufferer) for the past
ten years. He currently
lives in a bungalow (Bournemouth, UK) that does not suit his health
condition; this is due in
part to inconsiderate (and nearby) neighbours, poorly ventilated
accomodation, and also
because the bungalow has no isolation from any of the many EMF sources
around him.
But also, because of his state of health he is finding it very difficult to
work out how best to
rectify this situation given the fact that he does not have bottomless
pockets. Does anyone
know of any good books or people who can help with relocation advise?
Any help greatly appreciated,
Kind regards,
Justin
