Yes, he most likely connected the neutrals from both circuits. He should be
able to undo anything that he did.
Get the book "Tracing EMFs in Building Wiring and Grounding"
http://www.lessemf.com/book8.html for an excellent description of this
problem and how to fix/avoid it.
