I began to wonder about something. I thought if I unhooked the ground
wire from the ground rod and then measured both the ground rod and
the ground wire separately I might find out which direction the
current is going, i.e. into the house or out to the ground rod. But
as soon as I disconnected them the readings dropped on both the
ground rod and the wire. I was using a trifield meter instead of a
clamp on amp meter. I think they may sell a clamp on amp meter that
tells you the direction and maybe also the frequency of the current.
Anybody recommend anything?
