Shivani, I'd love more specifics about phone lines and eyeglasses. When
you say you "took out" your phone lines, do you mean you unhooked
phones from existing phone wires, or did you do something
more "invasive" than that? I.e. did you do structural work and actually
remove wires from within the walls? Also, with regard to your
eyeglasses, were you able to find all-plastic frames somewhere? I have
searched for such frames without luck -- the plastic frames I've found
still have a metal "skeleton" inside, plus screws at the hinges. If you
have an online source, I'd appreciate that link.
Finally, and this is is to everyone on the list -- does anyone have any
thoughts regarding the ES implications of wristwatches? I believe I've
noticed a dull ache in my arm from wearing my wristwatch at my computer
all day long. It's as if the EMF from my computer is amplified by the
watch. The ache subsides somewhat if I remove the watch at the end of
the day. I'm not sure if the solution is to get a watch that has no
metal touching the skin (but that still has a battery and metal
insides) or else to get an all-metal, wind-up watch with no battery. I
know I could just do without a wristwatch altogether, but that isn't a
practical solution for me right now.
