LCD issues

If one uses an LCD on battery only, not only is there no RF coming in
from the utility, but there is no AC/DC transformer issue. That takes care of
two problems. If one has not tried this, he/she has no idea how much of
his/her personal reaction is to physically connecting to the utility wiring and
its RF, literally.
Regarding the light, I do not get the readings from the screen that I do
from ordinary fluorescent lighting, which is of course a big problem.
Also, for what it's worth, I use my laptop with the light turned way up to max, and
don't get the symptoms that I do from regular fluorescents. Anyway, they
must not be the same.
Marc, have you spent any time on a not-plugged-in laptop? (Also no
phone line connected.) It would be interesting to know how that is for you.
There would be a magnetic field, particularly when the computer is
performing the kind of tasks that cause it to make little sounds. I would have to
check to see if using a detached keyboard eliminates this. It certainly
would get you further from the magnetic field of the battery itself.
(By the way, thanks for apologizing for the voodoo curse. Definitely a
toxic exposure!)
Regards,
Shivani
