Oh, and I should note -- if your mother feels absolutely no
difference from using the polarizer, then one option besides
buying a larger polarizer is to try a different type of EMF
protection.

Based on my own experiences, the following would be good
to try:

A Quantum Mini-Max or Power Strip (plug the TV into it),

I personally find the Quantum's to provide instant
