I wear the shielded cap almost all the time and find it essential in
keeping the headaches down. I don't think the pad on the seat is enough
to ground a person unless there is also a grounding strap that reaches
the earth below the car from the axle or frame. I used the Faraday cage
and it does significantly cut down on electrical and radiation from
outside sources.
