When I used to use Quantum Product's "Auto Clear" in my car's
cigarette lighter jack, I would ALWAYS get a shock when I got out
of the car and touched the metal car door. When I didn't use
this device I didn't get any shocks, and later when I bought
some static dissipating shoes I stopped getting shocks altogether.
I contacted Quantum Products about this, but they said that they
had never heard of this problem.

I'm still wearing my static dissipating shoes from Red Wing Shoes,
and I still no longer get shocks.
