shielding options -- recommended reading -- etc..

laura p
Hi,
I just joined the group and haven't been able to search the archives
too much, having recently become very EMF sensitive and have trouble
staying on my computer too long. SO I apolgize if I'm repeating
questions that have been answered already!

1. what kind of shielding works well for a laptop computer? I looked
on lessemf.com, and saw that they have a metal that can block magnetic
fields, and all kinds of drapery to go over the laptop and screen to
block emf fields. I notice that the metal does not need to be
grounded to block magnetic fields, but that the electric field
screening material must be grounded to work.
does anyone know which is more dangerous, magnetic or electrical
fields? What is your experience when it comes to blocking either of
those?
I'm particularly sensitive to wifi, and any input on how to block my
neighbors wifi while I sleep would be greatly appreciated.

2. I noticed on lessEMF.com there was a book and a pamphlet by the
same auth0r that were recommended
After searching the web (amazon.com and some other sites) I saw other
books that were recommended. IN addition, Larry Gust, a healthy
builder in Ventura, has written a book on wiring and avoiding EMF in
teh home (rather pricey, however). Has anyone found any books that
were particularly instructive in terms of learning about measuring
different types of emf fields, and coming up with appropriate actions
to shield. I'm not looking for a book which just talks about the
dangers of EMF, as unfortunately I no longer need to be convinced of that!

for example -- are any of these any good?
