Some of us need much more protein and fats, some more carbs. (But not grains, at least not unfermented ones.) Eating real food is not expensive. Being sick all the time is expensive! By real food, I mean whole, organic foods, as much locally-produced as possible. Its much more expensive to buy organic food here than supermarket stuff - especially meat, but as you say - its well worth it.. I think I have to dig that veggie patch up again! I'll check those books out - I get Mercolas newsletter and find it very helpful..
