You can experiment with sleeping in different places, but if you don't
have any idea what fields & frequencies you are being exposed to in those
places, you may just end up confused.
When I first tried sleeping in different places, I got more confused
because I had symptoms that began as soon as I laid down in all the places I
tried. Only later did I realize that all the spots just happened to be
electrical pollution hot spots. The places I tried sleeping on the floor were
actually right over phone lines or water pipes attached to the basement ceiling,
right under me. I had horrible spasms trying to sleep in these spots, which
at first glace seemed innocuous. It turned out that there was electrical
pollution (damaging high frequencies) riding on all our water pipes and phone
lines. And we had phone lines all over the place!
The sensible approach is to actually measure the fields in our
environments and then:
1) Get rid of the field, or
2) Rid the field of the damaging high frequencies, or
3) Avoid the damaging field

Shivani

my mattress story....

I was getting alot of pain in my spine at night even when my
electricity was switched off, so first tried earthing my metal
mattress, which got rid of all the pain in my spine . I also earthed
my sofa, and this has helped considerably.

But after a nite or two of sleeping well, i started to get a surging
feeling in my abdomen all night, so have now bought a foam mattress,
but i made a big mistake of buying without trying, and it is rock
hard!! And after a night or two the surging feeling in my guts is
back again. The futon base it is resting on has about 20 metal
screws and four big bolts, so am now looking at finding a new base.

BTW....on the subject of sleeping on the floor. Aside from the
mattress needing to be aired, whats the situation with having the
mattress directly on the floor? Is it necessary to have it raised in
order to be away from EMFs/MFs? Or is that not necessary if the
mattress is foam?

Also, i met a guy who's been through the whole bed nightmare and now
swears by a kind of futon that uses coconut matting inside, which
apparently doesn't compact like the cotton ones do. I'll get the
details next time i'm in touch with him.

am going to try putting my foam mattress on the floor tonight.

Its possible that your symptoms could also be the result of geopathic
stress, which varies somewhat over the 24 hour period. My own
observation is that this becomes more pronounced when the electricity is
switched off.
