re. the iron

SArjuna
The safe way to use an iron is to get it hot while you are not near it,
then unplug it and use it till it cools down too much. Then repeat.
Not handy, but healthy. And beats having to heat up a 5 lb. iron iron
(That's why we still call them irons.) on your wood stove.
