The standard setters themselves do not believe their standards are safe.
This is obvious from their behavior. They have been bought out by the
various industries who do not want their profit margin to slip a notch.
We would not go back to the stone age if we limited things that are
damaging. (For instance the greatest cause of ES is the electrical pollution
delivered by the utilities. All they need to do to get rid of it is do the
wiring according to national code.) It certainly is possible that we will find
ourselves going back to the stone age if we do NOT begin to limit things that
are damaging!
