Marc, it could be that the reason taking flax oil didn't help wheras
other omega-3 oils have is that flax oil goes rancid very easily. I was told
by a supplements expert that if it tastes bitter I should toss it out. Not
only won't rancid oil help you, but it's a carcinogen.
It is much safer, and you will get better results from buying whole flax
seed and grinding it fresh each time you eat some. Also, the oil contains
very little of the lignans compared to the whole seed, so eating the seeds is
doubly better.
