There was a Bizarro cartoon in our local paper today of two dogs talking
as they lounged in the dirt. One said he had dreamed that he was among the
most powerful humans on earth, whose decisions determined the health of the
environment and the quality of life for all living beings. the other dog asks
him "How'd you do?' The first dog replies "A lot better than the ones they
have now."
It seems that almost every single one of the individuals and
organizations whose supposed job it is to protect the environment and quality of life has
been bought out by the various industries.
Jane Ann Morris has a piece in a recesnt Rachel's newsletter about
corporate colonizaton that has some interesting points to make vbout this.

article about the politics of industrial pollution.

the politics of reality.
We are in deep doo doo. And we need to do more than just notice that.
