Several people have mentioned in the group that they find Stetzer filters
helpful - but is there a similar product in UK and Europe?  We are of course
240V and 50Hz rather than 110V, so would a standard Stetzer filter work over
here?  I didn't spot anything on the Powerwatch site that seemed equivalent.

Perhaps someone has already answered this question, but in case not...
Yes, the Stetzer filters are available through representatives in Europe.
Contact www.stetzerelectric.com to enquire.
There is no "equivalent." The filters are patented and there is no
other product that does what they do.

Shivani

Hello Shivani,

again Imust contradict you.

1. There are no representatives in Europe.
One has to order with Stetzer (but on questions he did not answer I found
out).
Or one can order with www.Lessemf.com who answer questions and delivers.

2. I have two Stetzer *European* filters.
In my opinion they are *whacky*. They are hanging very loose.
They only have a two pins flat plug, which is rather thin.
There is not ground pin connection.
And there is no CE mark.

If there starts a fire, who is responsible ?

3. I do not know about patents.
Stezer and Graham placed the principle on internet, so everybody can copy
that,

4. There is an equivalent in Germany.
It is a very robust filter, with ground connection and even ( according to
may wish) now with German and Belgian/French ground pin.
They also have CE mark.

This company also knows quite a lot about filtering.
But they look at things from a technical angle; broken electrical parts, and
transformers, etc.
I look at things from a biological side.
They are improving the filters according to my wishes.

5. The theme is also getting attention in the yearly convention of German
building biologists.
