either to an electrical outlet or the phone system? One needs to try that
to determine whether the effect is from the computer itself and not the RF
coming in on the two kinds of wiring.

Re: question for Pete re. computer effects

Hi SArjuna,

We did try a laptop as its pretty debilitating for her, but it still
presented her with the same problems. The laptop was plugged into the
wall socket however, so I will try the unplugged version..

Obviously this was before you had brought up the interesting points
about RF frequencies travelling over the wires, At the time I was
looking purely for EMF reduction, compared to a desktop machine. However
the Laptop does generate quite high emf emmisions from the Hard Drive
and the fans, and at the time having a plug pack further away did not
seem to help much.

With RF, computers generate a huge amount of different frequencies via
Hard drives, DVD players, PCI bus noise, memory frequencies, processor
clocks etc, and as such I suspect that we can never be rid of the
effects, unless using a computer in a box, far enough away, with remote
keyboard, mouse and screen and now, probably some RF supressors on the
cabling..

I also know that Fleuros cause problems with the 50hz (australia) cycle
and the enhanced blue light spectrum, and this may be the problem - all
our monitors in the house are LCD. I hope the OLED's are better..

My wife is also cealiac and has chemical sensitivities.. going into
cold/hot temperatures can cause welts to appear on her skin!, although
since finding out about the celiac after a huge iron deficiency, she is
much better now wheat and gluten (and dairy - lactose) are out the
picture.. although it costs a fortune to eat good food these days doesnt it!

I'll try the Laptop without the powercord and see if it helps..

Thanks
Pete
