It's not just for cellphones, is it?  I thought it altered the local environment, like the Quantum Companion does?

All I know is that I had an extreme adverse reaction to it, immediately.

It's supposed to be beneficial even if you don't use any emfs. To put it simply I believe what it essentially does is put out frequencies that help and support the body. They tested on animals and found that were healthier, chickens laid more eggs, cows made more milk etc.
