Hi just a quick note, I have trouble at home and at work sitting in front of monitors, last week at work I found if I turned the monitor off and stuck on the overhead projector I could work without being zapped, im now going to invest for one in the house to project on to a white wall

RE: projectors

Fog Top
Hi Chris, I have the same problem with monitors.  I've got a long cord for the keyboard and mouse and sit as far back as possible.  Monitors give off a high magnetic field and also RF.

If a computer is turned off but actually goes into a stand-by mode (the yellow light stays on), the monitor continues to put out an RF pulse.  You can determine this by using a battery-powered AM radio on off station and listen for beeps which sometimes can be picked up penetrating other rooms.  TVs do the same thing when turned off with a remote control.  Best option is to put these devices on a power strip with an off/on button and turn off when not in use.

Be careful with that overhead projector.  Make sure it's far away from you because some people claim they've become ES from prolonged exposure to over-head projectors.

In reply to this post by chris m
Hi Chris
I too felt the same affects from monitors, pc's, touch devices etc. But since increasing my salt intake I am ES free. Please see my salt water cure page , and if you try it please let the community here know what you experience.
All the best Rob

I know computers have made my vision worse.  I know some that can not use them at all!  I am saving to go RV and have a low emf off grid system.  That means I will have to chuck out the AC Television, also bad for vision.  I found a couple on a tiny house video enjoying theater size movies w/ a little DC pico projector.

Wow!  Lower emf, will work on DC solar, will take my computer, flash drive and DVD player.  I remember a Green Bank refugee saying the projector was the only way they could use computer or TV and it can be placed outside and projected in if must be.  That is going to be my next TV and monitor hands down!!

I once tried a projector after reading a guy's experience on electrosensitivity.org (or something like that)

I believe it was the LG HS201 - and it did not work for me.
The image was unclear and not adjustable to suit my needs in my tiny room.
Made me feel very ill, so I gave up, since I'm no electronics wiz & never will be.

BTW, I returned it. I'm not saying others don't have better experience.
Just saying mine.
